USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT THE ZERO PROJECT CONFERENCE

Download the Conference App

A Conference App of the Zero Project Conference is available on both the App Store (IOS) and Google Play (Android) for free: Search for “Zero Project Conference 2019”. It is highly recommended to download and use the Conference App to connect with other participants, check speakers-CVs and Programme updates.

After downloading the App, enable “Messages”, and then “Register” by typing your email-address, choose your own Password and setup the profile (minimum requirement: First Name and Last Name, you can update and complete the profile any time, including your portrait picture): Please be aware that all information given here is visible to everyone using the app (but no information given for registration is used here). The App can be downloaded already any time before the Conference.

Information bag at the Zero Project Conference

An information package is available for every participant at the reception desk. It includes the new Zero Project Report, the Speakers’ List, List of Participants, the Conference Programme and the List of Accessibility Measures.

Language, Captioning and Sign language

The official language of the Zero Project Conference is English. Captioning (subtitles) are provided in English in all rooms. Sign language (in some rooms) is International Sign. No other language translation services are provided, except when specifically mentioned in the Programme. Please check the official “Programme At A Glance” for details of accessibility measures (including captioning and sign language in every Conference session).

Bringing information material

If you want to bring information material with you, please note that we only have limited space available. We kindly ask you to bring material and brochures that do not exceed the A4 format. Also, display of posters, roll-ups etc. will not be possible. Nonetheless, we will do our best that you will be able to present all your material.

Accessibility features

A number of accessibility features will be available at this year’s Zero Project conference; please check the Accessibility section (within “Practical Information”-section) and the Easy-Language-section of the Conference website for more details.

Accessible Restrooms

Accessible restrooms are located on the ground floor as well as on the first floor. Please check the Floor Plan and the Conference website for more details.

Cloakroom and Store Room

A cloakroom service will be provided for free and it is situated on the ground floor (after passing the registration desk). Participant can also store their luggage upon arrival and on their departure day. The cloakroom service is open from 8 a.m. until the end of the Conference on each Conference day.

Exhibition Area

Exhibitions are situated on the Ground Floor and on the First Floor. All exhibitors will be hosts of their booth on Wednesday, 20 February from 5 p.m. until the end of the Conference day. During the rest of the Conference there is no obligation for exhibitors to be present at their booth.

Catering services

The Zero Project provides vouchers for one snack per Conference day, which will be distributed at the registration desk. Water and coffee is available throughout the whole Conference in dedicated corners.
In addition, two cafeterias are open on Ground Floor and First Floor throughout the day, where snacks and drinks can be bought. Outside the M-Building, the Restaurant of the UN in Vienna is open for lunch.
The Zero Project serves light dinners on Wednesday and Thursday for free to all participants.

Wireless/WIFI

Free WIFI is available for all participants of the Conference within the M-Building. No password is needed.

Dress Code at the Conference

There is no special code for the Conference (including the Award Ceremony), “business casual” or “lounge suit” is recommended.
