The Zero Project Conference 2017 marks the start of the second round of our four year cycle of research topics. We are returning, once again, to the issue of employment (last addressed at 2013’s conference), but expanding it to include both work and, more specifically, vocational education & training. We believe that employment is a subject that continues to become ever more important.
Our expanding network, now of several thousand people, has, as usual, been involved in the nomination and selection of this year’s innovative practices and policies in the field. The Zero Project Conference 2017, centered around the solutions and methodologies they offer, will seek to connect invitees from many different sectors of society so that they can share and discuss ideas and concepts that really work. And, thereby, in a joint effort, help support the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, worldwide.
Check out the Retrospective of the Zero Project Conference 2016 on Inclusive Education and ICT, which with 516 participants for more than 70 countries and with 35 sessions engaging 198 speakers, was a great success.
